Genesis
In 1994, I met the grand-daughter of Jean de Domecy, one of the best friends and helper of Odilon Redon. Then I discovered the work of the artist, those wonderfull bouquets and these gorgeous fantasies of special beings colored with magnificient oils and pastels. I became then passionnated and started to collect Odilon Redon, periods and artists who inspired him.This site have been first published in 1996 on a private part of Compuserve, then two years later on the free french host Chez.com. Since 2003, I host the site on a webserver at Altern. I have also registered odilonredon.net.

Copyrights and law
In France, the copyright is inspired by two different laws : 11th march 1957, and 3rd july 1985. They are all represented in the "Code de la Propriété Intellectuelle" since july 1st 1992.
This site is published to present Odilon Redon. I do not work for any association or public society or any artistic group. I have included when I knew them any copyright information about the reproductions facts. If anyone would feel annoyed or uncomfortable with anything regarding the copyrights or reproductions, please let me know first before any further action. The money made with this site through some very selected partnerships are paying the hostings fees and some researchs. This is a website about a wonderfull artist, not a reproduction tricky crap.
